Purus, Acre & Juruá rivers – Miocene of Acre

Since 2013, in the context of a research Project funded by the Brazilian agency FAPESP and in colaboration with Universidade Federal do Acre, the PaloLab conducted field work in the rocks of the Solimões Formation, Acre. Collected fossils include turtles, crocodylians, mammals, bivalves and bony-fishes.
