Ioiô Cave – Diamantina Plateau, Bahia

Between 2012 and 2013, in the context of a research Project funded by the Brazilian agency FAPESP and in colaboration with a speleodivers team, the PaloLab conducted prospection work in the Ioiô Cave, Iraquara karstic-complex in the Chapada Diamantina region, Bahia. Collected fossils include bony-fishes, crocodylians, birds and mammals (carnivores, ungulates, rodents, bats).
