Triássico de La Rioja, Argentina

Between 2016 and 2019, in the context of a project funded by FAPESP and in association with the Argentine Museum of Natural Sciences and the Regional Center for Research and Scientific Transfer of La Rioja, the Paleontology Laboratory carried out prospecting work in the region of Hoyada del Cerro Las Lajas, La Rioja, Argentina. Fossils of rhynchosaurs, cynodonts, and archosaurs were collected in the Triassic deposits of the Ischigualasto Formation.
